Sixers announce second half of 2020-21 season schedule - Liberty Ballers

The Philadelphia 76ers are still 1st place in the Eastern Conference at 21-11, with four games remaining before the All-Star break. You can start looking ahead now, though, as the Sixers have officially announced their schedule for the second half of the season.

After the All-Star break, the Sixers have 17 home games, 19 road games, nine back-to-backs, and three two-game series against the Milwaukee Bucks, Atlanta Hawks, and Orlando Magic.

There are two particularly challenging stretches of games that stand out. First, their three road matchups against the Los Angeles Lakers, LA Clippers then Denver Nuggets at the end of March. Once the Sixers get past their first few games in April, they’ll face what will be their toughest remaining stretch by far:

April 6 @ Boston
April 9 @ New Orleans
April 10 @ Oklahoma City
April 12 @ Dallas
April 14 vs. Brooklyn
April 16 vs. LA Clippers
April 19 vs. Golden State
April 21 vs. Phoenix
April 22 @ Milwaukee
April 24 @ Milwaukee

From there, Philly can at least benefit from a much easier end to the season.

The Sixers currently rank 13th in offensive rating, 7th in defensive rating, and 8th in net rating at +2.8. Here’s how they’ve fared at home and on the road so far:

Home: 13-2 record, 8th in offensive rating (114.1), 8th in defensive rating (108.3), 5th in net rating (+5.8).

Road: 8-9 record, 20th in offensive rating (110), 10th in defensive rating (109.9), 15th in net rating (+0.1).

According to Positive Residual’s analysis, the Sixers have the 16th-toughest strength of schedule moving forward this season.

For now, their next contest is a home game against the Dallas Mavericks on Thursday.
