NEW YORK — Aaron Judge took walk-off literally.

Judge’s five-pitch walk scored the game-winning run in the Yankees’ 5-4 victory over the White Sox at Yankee Stadium on Sunday. Closer Liam Hendricks, brought in specifically to face the huge slugger, lost Judge on a high fastball to end it.

The last-ditch rally started with Clint Frazier’s bullet ground ball single up the middle to lead off the inning off reliever Aaron Bummer. Then Chicago intentionally walked DJ LeMahieu to get to Tyler Wade, who was the defensive replacement for Luke Voit. Wade got jammed inside but was able to beat out bouncer to second base, loading the bases for Judge. It was his first career walk-off. Judge fell behind, 0-1, before getting four straight balls.

And it was the Yankees fourth walk-off win and second in three games. On Friday, Gleyber Torres walk-off single won it. Judge’s hero moment earned the Yankees their first walk-off walk since Juan Miranda did it in 2010.

Closer Aroldis Chapman picked a bad time to give up his first earned run of the season, span of 19 appearances. With one out, pinch hitter Andrew Vaughn crushed a solo shot to right-center field, knotting the game at 4-all. Vaughn hammered a 99-mph, 1-0 fastball from the left-hander.

No matter. His lineup picked him up, giving the Yankees their sixth win in a row and holding up Jameson Taillon’s best start in pinstripes. The Yankees are 24-0 this year leading after eighth innings.

They improved to 28-19 after starting the day third in the American League East, just behind the Rays and the first-place Red Sox. Chicago fell to 26-19 but still stood atop the AL Central.

The Yankees are 23-9 since April 20 — the most wins and the best winning percentage (.710) in the majors over that span.

He struck out four, walked two and never really faced trouble in a rebound from two straight starts in which he’d given up four runs. The tall right-hander was pulled at 80 pitches and just before he was set to face Chicago’s 2-3-4 hitters for the third time. The Yankees acquired him in a deal with the Pirates in the offseason.

It snapped a four-game streak of Yankees pitchers going at least seven scoreless innings. They’ll welcome the Blue Jays on Tuesday following Monday’s off day — and they’ll miss facing last year’s AL Cy Young third-place finisher Hyun Jin Ryu. Ryu started Sunday.

Torres’ two-run, two-out single in the first inning put the Yankees ahead. In a full count, Torres turned on a hanging changeup and stroked it into shallow left-center, bringing in Voit and Judge.

Then Gio Urshela extended the lead to 3-0 with his bases-loaded, no-outs double play in the fifth. Urshela ripped it to third base and brought home DJ LeMahieu, who led off the frame with a single.

The Yankees’ advantage was cut to one in the sixth when reliever Wandy Peralta surrendered a two-run bomb to Jose Abreu. They were the first runs Chicago had scored since the eighth inning on Friday night.

But the Yankees struck back immediately thanks to a White Sox gaffe. Shortstop Tim Anderson, trying to turn a double play on Brett Gardner’s grounder to the pitcher, threw the ball into the first base camera well. That advanced Gary Sanchez from third base for a 4-2 Yankees lead.

Then in seventh, Yasamani Grandal smacked a leadoff homer vs. reliever Chad Green, who hadn’t allowed a run in his previous four appearances since May 6.

Frazier had three hits for the first time this season.
