Game 1 between the Milwaukee Bucks and Miami Heat wasn't decided until the final second of overtime. In the end, it was the third-seeded Bucks that came away victorious, thanks to Khris Middleton's game-winning bucket. The series continues Monday night as No. 6 Miami tries to even things up against Giannis Antetokounmpo and Co. While there is still plenty of basketball left to be played, it is the Bucks who own a sizable lead in the early going as Milwaukee caught fire from beyond the arc tying the all-time NBA playoff record for made 3-pointers in a single quarter with 10 in the opening 12 minutes of play.
Despite pulling out the win, the Bucks didn't have the most stellar shooting night. In fact, they shot just 16.1 percent (5 of 31) from 3-point range compared to Miami, which converted 40 percent of its attempts. The Heat also drained a franchise playoff-record 20 3s, yet still couldn't claim victory. A big reason was the sluggish offensive performances from stars Jimmy Butler (4 of 22) and Bam Adebayo (4 of 15). They'll need to bounce back for Miami to have a better shot at evening the first-round series.
