Jake Paul living rent-free in Dana White’s head — ‘I’m actually affecting his business’ - MMA Mania

Ultimate Fighting Championship (UFC) President Dana White will do anything to convince you that social media influencer Jake Paul, who is now 3-0 as a professional boxer, is an irrelevant nobody who can’t win a real fight against legitimate talent.

Probably because he’s fighting washed-up old farts.

LIVE! Stream ‘Paul Vs. Woodley’ On PPV

Watch the most talked about combat sporting event of the summer, a battle between renowned YouTube content creator and undefeated professional boxer, Jake “The Problem Child” Paul, locking horns with former UFC champion, Tyron “The Chosen One” Woodley, on Sun., Aug. 29, 2021, streaming online via pay-per-view (PPV). “Paul vs. Woodley,” which will take place inside Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland, Ohio, start time is slated for 8 p.m. ET, with a PPV price tag of $59.99.

Don’t miss a single second of epic face-punching action!

But Paul suggests White is badmouthing his pugilistic exploits because it cuts into UFC business. While celebrity boxing matches are unlikely to put a dent in White’s pay-per-view (PPV) model, they could motivate fighters to demand better payouts.

“He talks about me way more than I talk about him,” Paul told MMA Fighting. “A lot of times I’ll just be minding my business and then all of a sudden there’s like a whole new interview that comes out where he’s talking about me. I’m definitely in his head because before when we were talking, it was just random back and forth but now I’m actually affecting his business and they don’t like that.”

Paul is boxing former UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley, who is expected to remove himself from the combat sports clearance rack and make more money in one fight than he has over the last 10 years, thought White thinks they’re both “full of shit.”

“Those are big wig guys with a lot of power who are very greedy and they will do anything to get to the top,” Paul continued. “They have gotten to the top but they want more. They always want more. That’s how these billionaire sharks are. They will kill and eat everyone in their path to put more money into their bank accounts. I’m in his head, I’m affecting his pockets and he doesn’t like that.”

Paul will be affecting the pockets of fights fans, who are asked to shell out $59.99 for his upcoming Woodley fight — available to stream on FITE right here — this Sunday night (Aug. 29, 2021) inside Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse in Cleveland, Ohio.
