CLEVELAND, Ohio – The Browns will have the 26th pick in the first round of the 2021 NFL Draft, their reward for finishing 11-5 and reaching the second round of the playoffs.
Unless the Browns trade out of the spot, they will make their lowest first pick of the first round since 1995 when they took Ohio State’s Craig Powell 30th overall.
The Browns own nine picks overall, including two each in rounds three and four thanks to previous trades with the Saints and Eagles.
The Browns know their third-round picks are Nos. 89 and 91 but will need to wait until the NFL awards compensatory picks for rounds 3-7 to know their exact draft position in the later rounds.
Here is a round-by-round look at the Browns’ picks:
2021 NFL DRAFT
First round: Own pick (No. 26).
Second round: Own pick (No. 59).
Third round: Own pick (No. 89); Saints pick (No. 91).
Fourth round: Eagles pick; Own pick.
Fifth round: *Own pick OR Rams pick.
Sixth round: Own pick.
Seventh round: Bills pick.
* The Browns traded a fifth-round pick to the Jaguars for Ronnie Harrison, but it’s still unknown if that was their own fifth rounder of the pick they acquired from the Rams.
